We do understand that with the rise in prices making ends meet is a little tougher these days. But the science must go on and it is up to each team member to find ways to squeeeeeeeze that extra work unit out of your system to keep the numbers up and the research moving forward.

So I have been instructed to inform all concerned that Dave (:devil:) DOES have your numbers and that he is not afraid to use them. :eek: With the thought of permanent loss, or at least case diminished hearing, and since we are a community oriented forum we STRONGLY encourage each and everyone of you to think about this terrible punishment. As it stands now 10,436 have permanent hearing loss in at least one ear and 12,294 are in one form of therapy or another. :shakes:

We care about each and every one of you and don't want this on our consciences. We also recommend consulting with twilyth to discuss creative ways to fund your Krunching addiction. He has always found ways to help members discover that when there is the will, you CAN find the way. :D

Don't you realize that I was in the middle of conducting a scientific test to see if clock, or hardware, counts for more with Fallwind? (BTW, not to go too off-topic in my own SiG biatch session, they are very close. Fallwind has one less machine than I do, I don't clock as well, but we are neck-and-neck in the dailies....Clock counts, and big....All cruncher priority should be on learning clocking, in order to save you bucks for the points you produce. This made sense to me early on, but I had to prove it in the numbers to myself. To say it another way, if you clock 10% over, you have given yourself about 1/10 of your next cruncher, without the hardware expense.....) Now you tempt me to drive the short miles to Fry's and do the deed. Gee thanks.....:mad::rofl::ROTF::clap:

BTW, I found another good reason to shop Fry's, more than the instant gratification of coming home with parts. I had some blown RAM sticks here to RMA. The guy I deal with at Fry's asked if I bought them there. I said yes, I did. He informed me to just bring them back to the store. They credited me the full amount for the sticks and I picked up my MSI Neos with that money. Pretty cool that I didn't have to dork around with Corsair and OCZ......

Nope. I have no budget--handouts only really. Poor college student--set in within 48 hours of moving to Miami. Yeahhhh--I need a job. Badly. Well, unfortunately I have one rig that I can put on WCG. It's my work rig though, and it's been a little flaky lately. That and the fact that it was running over 68 C in a 25 C Lab made me take it offline as I need it too badly and my lab isn't going to spring for a new one if it goes (It's a Dell, not my design nor one I can mess with as it is the lab computer). I've been noticing the price of quads lately though, so we'll see if I get the bug to build my own computer for work...

EDIT: Yeah, It'd be $10 for one month of unlimited use, Landlines/Mobile included. Whoever hosts it would just run skype, Then dial in everyone who wanted to be on the call, And dial in themselves if they dont have a microphone. It'd be free for everyone else, And the max would be 25 people.

What about getting every one onto a ventrillo server? Thats free for every one with a mic and headphones. I have a server that can be used as well.
