I have had X86 Ultimate sp1 for about 5/6 months now basically I found a HD so I installed X64 ultimate sp1 which I had lying around onto it, everthing worked etc.. etc.. installd everything I needed went to reboot

"error please insert system disk" (trying to boot from cd) so I was like w/e did it let it carry on just went into vista and such everythign worked again

but now everytime before it goes to the OS selection screen, It'll try boot from cd (Even removed the DVD drive from the boot selection in Bios) if the x64 disk IS NOT in there it will crap out saying it needs it else I can bugger off.

any help atall?

Install w/o anything else but the OS drive plugged in. If it errors with a single drive and single partition (no dual OS'es) then I would put my money on a problematic install disk.

Did you put the 64 bit cd in the drive with vista 32 bit booted up to install it ?
