Hello all.

I thought a proper thread about this was in order, since this new version of rivatuner allows for some real HD4000 overclocking.

I just installed it minutes ago, but one thing I noticed immediately was that it allows memory frequency finetuning (1Mhz increments instead of 25Mhz increments) which should be helpful, at least for gaming and 3D intensive apps and games.

On the other hand, it completely overrides powerplay settings, even if you shut off CCC Overdrive. I guess it will be helpful nonetheless with the use of profiles.

Your thoughts, people?

I have a arctic accelero S1 R2 on it with a 120mm fan.

You'd just need to find out what clocks etc your card was running at in lower power mode, then make a profile matching that for the "Standard 2D" setting in Rivatuner, right?
