Hey guys

I've seen here the reviews of this excellent memory...

GSKILL F2 PC2 9600 1200 CL5 2.1V

1) This sticks suffer the same micron illness ?

2) Anyone runing them on P35 chipset ?

3) What can be the max safe volts to 24/7 ?

Cheers
Sergio

too early to say
supply is low right now

its most likely power chips, and that would mean that 2.15V is the 24/7 and the max

Just like the others said, they are very rare at the moment, but they run at low volts and use most likely Powerchip ICs. Up to know I haven't seen any threads about failing RAM using PSC.

power chips are the high performance ics used in single sided 2x1GB skits and 2x2GB kits now they run at 2.15V and dont degrade like micron ics usually do and run nice and cool

the high performance kits use powerchips R bin or RR, i think that they add more Rs for the best ics

Thank you for the explanation...I was very happy with my Ballistix till they died at stock volts....had them runing cool on my antec 900 at 2,2V 1188 and one day died...

Now I'm the mushkins ascent 2x2 but cant get them stable on more than 1066...

Cheers

Make sure your tRFC is 50+
My Ascent 800s did 1100 MHZ and passed Memtest. See my thread:
