I've got a WU aborted by project error on one of my systems. It's a FA@H6.05 unit. First time I've ever seen that error. Anyone else?

I just got fold7 back up and the first thing it did is abort the 3 FAAH units it had in queue. Odd

I had one complete just a few minutes before before this one was aborted.

Were they past their send in date?

No not at all. Can't figure out why it was aborted.

I think Dave will raise you 2 divorces and 2? 3? kids. :p:
I just realized since my EeePC hasn't been crunching (I need battery life and it's typically off otherwise), I should be right at the time limit. I tried sending in 3 projects from my E2140--which were done in no-time flat compared to the laptop.

My quad also threw them out. Is there something wrong?

IIRC it has to do with the transition to single redundancy units. New ones should be coming online shortly.

Does that mean that you will get fixed credit for a WU?

I think the benchmark has been integrated into the science application. It runs a known fragment of the work type and credit is derived from there.

Good. No matter what benchmark is used, we are at an advantage here :)

A WU can be cancelled by the WCG servers if it is no longer required to complete the quorum. In other words, the quorum was completed by two other crunchers before your copy started crunching, so it is cancelled to prevent you from processing it needlessly. It's a rare event but you'll see it more often at this time since WCG is issuing 3rd and 4th copies of a WU much quicker that normal to try and get all the old quorum 2 FAAH's flushed out of the system.

looks like you are spot on, I have stopped receiving faah units, last download of one was at 2:18am 28th aug, only got ones from other projects since then.
