Which one do you guys think would be better?
(A) The small one or (B) The large one.

I would go with the small one, looks like it has more surface area, however, with either you would need good air flow over the card to really cool them.
I am not sure if its just me, but DDR5 seems to put out more heat then the DDR3 that was on my 3870X2. Just make sure you have good airflow and you should be fine.
