I agree with Charlie... 27k will be broken soon, perhaps 28k if the XT OC's further than the 9800 Pro... But there is no way we will be seeing 30k with today's technology. Simply no way.

I really don't think that 30k will break soon either. The a64 cards only pushed another 1k or so. 27k will be broken soon, and posibly 28k. But another 2k to get to 30k that seems a little far fetched.

30k default needs a lot of proccessing juice paired with well clocked raddy:D As long as A64 chips are locked, ut won't happen any soon.

2mb cache with a good cooling can add more then 1 k i think because if you can cool 2mbs of cache who can stop you

i agree with that if xt can be really different than 30k can come more closer but xt looks like a more cooled 9800pro with more volt to me

I'll be surprised if i see one of those Emergency Edition chips hitting 27k.

i dont think so ee will going to have a very big advantage 3dmark2001 tests because of l3 cache and i think this emergency editions will be the intels new kings untill the tejas prescotts are out of the competition before the release like fx5800ultra i think they are going to be new p4's the change is nothing more than willmate->northwood like change and 2003 milestones of p4s are 800 mhz fsb and 2mb l3 prescott can only be 500meterstone lol :D

so i think only way that p4ee's cant hit the 27k can only be that 2mb caches disadvantages in overclocking so that 2mb cache can make ee series a king or a §§§§ IMO

well, on default clocks EE shows about 1k performance boost comparing to 3.2C. Not enough to hit 27k... But we'll try:)
