Do you have a brief synopsis for the game? I clicked your link but you need to be signed up to read their news letter, from the comments there it seems like it is a FPS shooter along the lines of Operation Flashpoint?
If it is, what makes this one stand out in your opinion?
If its any consolation, I love the Rock band called Blackfoot, but I doubt they are related to this :)

Is this free source like Americas Army was? would be good if you could keep us updated as things progress.

So what are their games like, like ArmA or like say old Rainbow Six games (the new ones are useless)? It seems it's a multiplatform title so I expect them to cut corners and simplify things to please the console crowd.. Wouldn't want to lose out on the Halo/Gears of War demographic. :rofl: No, but really, I don't like that. I need some PC fanboy reassurance before I can get excited about this. :D

dev team are skool folks using new technology.
they are new, so Sky God will help them bring their resources and concentrate on their main objective: Ground Branch.
Mostly FPS theme since their roots are Rainbow6.
If you can play UT3 on decent framerates, then you are already set...no need to upgrade or go crazy with your set up.
But most important to them is to build the game around a community.

Okay, I just had a read.. So these guys worked on the first Rainbow Six games, they worked at Red Storm.. Jeez. This has some potential!
Although after looking at the site it seems Ground Branch is more of an R6 type game. I'll buy this anyway just to fund GB if it turns out to actually be good.

Suggestion:
try to get a hold of the newsletters, coz that is the fastest way catch up on what is current and not have to sift thru many threads.:up:
one thing that I'm eagerly waiting is the MO-Cap that was recently acquired.
