My X1950XT came with an accelero from Powercolor. I took it off to put my waterblock on it, and Arctic Cooling's pads tore up. I just got a 4870, so I'm going to be putting the Accelero back on the X1950XT to sell it, however I need new thermal pads for the ram. Any idea where to get some? I was going to buy some EK replacement pads for their waterblocks from Petra's (it was a pack of 8 ram pads), but they don't appear to be sold any more.

Try cutting this to size (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/akthadtaak80.html) or using dots of superglue near the corners with a dab of thermal grease in the center. Clean the original tape off thoroughly with a razor and then acetone or MEK. Adhesion is severely affected by any remaining contaminants. The memory chips may also appear to be clean but if they appear shiny at certain angles, give them a serving of solvent and elbow grease as well.

The problem is I need thick pads. It isn't holding little ramsinks on, it is making contact between the cooler and the ram chips, and tape isn't thick enough.
