533.6MHz CL 3 Pi Stable 2.5v

EDIT: The only thing stopping me from validating higher at CL 3 was the coldbug @ ~282MHz.

Nice CAS 3 results. Do you have any CAS 4 and 5 results? I would think 1200 CAS 4 and 1300 - 1400 CAS 5 should be possible at that voltage, depending how your ram scales.

I'm also interested to see c4 / c5 clocks :)

At the moment 562.3mhz is my maximum for any cas latency as I'm fsb limited. I'll stretch its lets sometime next month :)

I have done 660mhz c4 at 2.42v but I don't have the results at hand anymore :(

I wish they were still pumping these IC's out of the fabs. GMH is some insane RAM! Very nice job on the overclock. I'd be too scared to hit 2.5V

Damn, you need to get those sticks in an intel setup pronto :D

Good results though, and CAS 4 660 is awesome.

Firstly, 562.3MHz CL 3 2.5v

Team 6400 with D9GMH... oh sweet memories.

2,5V for 562 C3 is crazy, ususally you wont even get 500 c3 with such low voltage, 550+ ususally needs close to or above 3V.

I smell worldrecord ram, get a p35 board and go for 600 c3:up:

i pushed 2.5v lmao into ballistix but they still do 1200 with 2.05 so not too bad
not the boards fau;t was mine i was tryin to break 12000mb/s but i was close heres a pic lol
i will break 12000mb/s if i gotta kill a set or 2:rofl:

i got 10+ sets so is ok lol

CryptiK
08-26-2008, 05:28 AM
Damn that was close. That's pretty crazy voltage, but as you say, if you have 10+ sets (Damn dude, that's like $1K+ of D9 :D) you can afford to thrash one or two sets.

@OdinEidolon You can see in the Cpu-Z screenshot here: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=407654 that those are 2x1Gb 6400 Team rams. ;)

i know that but there are lots of team 6400 ram, for example:

TXDD2048M800HC4DC
TXDD2048M800HC4DC-D
TXDD2048M800HC5DC

there are others, of course, and tehre are different revisions which change the hsf (the first was silver for the TXDD2048M800HC4DC, now is black)

I was referring to my Team X, this is a topic about them, not Dominators. :)

@OdinEidolon I am rather sure that Xtreem Dark (TXDD2048M800HC4DC-D) which you mentioned in that mini list couldn't have pulled this off since they are ProMOS only. :D
That leaves only D9 Teams. I mean they were D9 until of that D9-being-not-shipped-anymore issue.:(

yup those are the good ones (the 667 c3 one where not bad either though) and the older the better, the later ones often require risky voltages to achieve insane clocks.

Yeah so I heard, old ones are awesome. My 'new' teams boot at DDR 1350 at 2.22v (real) but I can't load windows. I'm yet to push them harder, as my board is hating D9's and it has some major memory issues. I wish I had my old P5B or P5K still :( I want to know what they'll do.

I need to get some answers to this, I donīt want to make a new tread.

Is this correct way to calculate the theoretical maximum bandwidth?
1MHz = 8MB/s (64bit) = 1Hz = 8bit (1Hz = 1/s)
1MHz = 4MB/s (32bit) = 1Hz = 4bit (1Hz = 1/s)
1MHz = 2MB/s (16bit) = 1Hz = 2bit (1Hz = 1/s)
1MHz = 1MB/s (8bit) = 1Hz = 1bit (1Hz = 1/s)

HyperTransport 3.0 (32bit) = 2600MHz (41,6GBit/s)
HT 1000MHz (32bit) = 16.0MB/s = 16GB/s

I don't recall stability being a requirement in this thread :rolleyes: It's not stable, but this is 1M stable:

That's the dumbest thing I've seen for a while. Do us a favor and beat it. Validation is similar to 1m, 32m whatever, it's just the level of stability is far lower so you can get much crazier clocks. You still need some stability.

If you wanna knock, rather just don't post.
