I'm hoping some people here who have Vapoli systems can help me out. I'm in the process of setting up my system in Jin's Vapoli V2000 case but am having a strange issue.

After connecting the 24 pin power and 8 pin power to the mobo, I am unable to get power to the mobo when routing power through the pass through cables installed outside the rear of the case. I have the power cable from the phase unit hooked up to the PSU and then the PSU wire is connected on one end to the 2nd cable and the other to the wall...but the mobo is not lighting up...the phase unit seems to be working because when I hit the power button for it, it goes on...and if I disconnect the power in the rear from the phase and connect directly from the PSU to the wall, it works fine (mobo lights up).

Also, is it normal to hear a very loud air whooshing sound when you first turn on the phase? It slowly goes away in like 5 -7 seconds and then just the compressor is heard, but I was just wondering if this was normal.

Nice to hear yours arrived !

This was all assembled and installed in the case before had ?

Perhaps if you have a picture of how the cables are connected ?

I know many questions :)

I have his Vapoli V2000 case with the phase built into the bottom of the case...I'm doing the PC hardware install myself...there's two power wires at the rear of the case..one goes from the phase to the PSU and the other goes to the wall...I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do extra connections on the inside to get this to work properly or not...as I said before, I think the phase is working fine as it turns on...and when I connect the PSU wire directly into the back of the PSU, the mobo powers up fine too...I just can't get them both to work together properly...I think once I get this resolved, the system will work perfect but I won't know that until I install windows and can monitor temps, etc etc.

I know a bunch of people here have bought these systems in the past so if you guys are out there, help me out!

it sounds like the pass through cable is borked. could you run 2 cables one to the phase and one to the psu, if not then i would redo the wiring on the pass through cable

That's what I'm thinking, but I don't know anything about how to wire something like this up...I tried to e-mail Jin, but he hasn't responded. I am doing it rthe right way though right? All I'm supposed to do is connect one wire to the PSU and the other to the wall?

Another strange thing is that the temp readout constantly stays at 70-71....this is even after the phase system has been on for more than 2 minutes. The motherboard is not even powered on, so the temp readout should rapidly go down right? I think I need to take the evap head off and see if it's working properly as well.

Before you take it apart id try and contact jinu, the temp readout is definitely not correct.

AFAIK the wiring would be pretty simple, basicaly you have a power cable going from the wall to a connector block then coming out the block you have a cable going to the phase unit and a cable going to the PSU you would need to replace the PSU cable with the same type and gauge

The block seems to be inside the case...and this is not a regular wire...it's like the PSU wall connector wire...I wouldn't know how to replace it properly. I'll inspect it more thoroughly tonight...but it isn't easy as the area is very small and most things are bolted down.

Actually, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about as you have this system on your site...I will take pics but don't have my camera as of now...I should be able to take them tonight later on though.

It's the two power wires at the bottom of the case in the rear...one goes into the PSU and the other is for power from the wall....I think the one that goes to the wall is defective...it's probably a loose connection inside, but I don't know how to troubleshoot it.

Forget the power issue, the system obviously has a leak...I ran it for about 5 minutes bare and the copper head didn't even get cold to the touch...what a disappointment :shakes:

Sounds like multiple issues. Where did you buy this from?

I'm not sure which controller Jin is using now or even if he is using a controller. It may be a loose connection on the in/out plug or maybe at the compressor.
Are you sure the compressor is running? It may just be the fans that are coming on.

I don't sell Jin's units. If I get questions about sales or service, I refer them to Jin.
