I have Tuniq Tower 120 with stock fan, and I'm thinking to replace it with Scythe S-FLEX (1600 RPM or 1200 RPM version). Tuniq Tower fan is really good on low setting (1000RPM), but anything higher than 1300RPM is loud, for me.I guess Scythe is not so loud on 1200-1500RPM.
So, is it worth to upgrade it with S-FLEX in terms of air flow/noise ratio? Or maybe Scythe Slip Stream?

I'd say go for the S-flex since it has the among the best radiator performance in a test in the water cooling section. The S flex range also does good on max dba and static pressure so it should likely increase your performance a lil...it's the air turbulance of the fan placement that prolly makes it loud however...

Thanks.:)
What about Scythe Slip Stream? The specs looks good, but it is rated as case fan.

i think the s-flex may be just that bit quiter than a slip stream although i dont have an s-flex.
the Slipstream is not that much quieter than the stock tuniq fan imo. (i have the tuniq and slipstreams)
ill be trying s-flex next time i get me some fans...
Slipstream:
The SY1225SL12M (1200RPM) moves 68.54CFM at 24.0dBA
S-FLEX:
This fan is equipped with genuine S-FDB (SONY Fluid Dynamic Bearing). 1200rpm Version: 49.0CFM / 20.1dBA / DC12V / 0.15A.
not sure how accurate the stated cfm's are in reality. the s-flex i believe are quieter, plus they are supposed to last longer

the stock tuniq fan is 25mm thick,
38mm wont fit in the tuniq
