Wait wait wait, I saw the word "studies" in there... please dont tell me your a student and buying hardware like that.

Any who, all choices look good (I wouldn't buy anything Alphacool personally, but you already have the rads). The only thing i'd change is the case for something more watercooling friendly like a TJ-07, Cosmos S or big Lian Li tower.

Well....yes i am a student on 2nnd stage of E.T.I.E course and i am a computer maniac :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Thanks for the advice on case...I started thinking a lot the Cosmos S case...Seems to be bigger than the Stacker with more room...

Any help on Cpu and NB blocks???

Rampage comes with a northbridge waterblock pre-installed, personally i've never seen the point of watercooling a motherboard for anything other than looks (decent case airflow provides plenty enough cooling).

As for the CPU any of the top 5 will give you great temps;

EK Supreme
Swiftech GTZ
D-Tek Fuzion (V1 or V2)
Danger Den MC-TDX
XSPC Edge (although the chances are you wont find 1 anywhere :P)

I know that the rampage comes with a fusion block but from a review that i read somewhere in that forum it seems that the fusion block doesnt perform very well...
Thanks for your help :up::up::up::up:

the NB liquid is good for higher clocking the ram, with an x38/48 u can use 1.7V+ with liquid cooling and not damage the part were on air u could only do about 1.6V with something like an hr05 and over 1.5V would pushing is with most stock cooling, especially linked heatpipes

as for what NB block, the fusion block isalso aluminum:down: , swiftech has the mcw30 and i think that they have a fusion replacement as well, the EK or DD NB coolers are a wast they have more restriction and the NB on an x38/48 are the same as the water temp

I've put 1.74v through the nb of my P5E3 Deluxe and had no issues. For the hassle of taking apart a whole heatpipe assembly and, in most cases, voiding a warranty i've never seen the point. Of course this is just my opinion and I know theres alot of people out there who do like their motherboard components to be as close to ambient as possible. ;)

put it this way before i had liquid my NB with 1.6V would load at about 55c now it loads at 35, and i can get pl7 with phases and a 502fsb/1200mhz ram, instead of pl8, so it makes a difference when u want to go all out

i can also do 1000mhz 4-4-4-10 pl6 with 1.4V now and it was 1.5V before so... if u have liquid why not it wont kill your loop, its not like u are getting ocz flex in it
