I was just playing some css, doing my normal chatting and such. I powered down my pc. I go eat, when I'm done, I go back to my computer. Turn it on, hear the normal startup, but nothing shows up on the monitor.... So I retried to start it up again, and same thing, "No Signal". I need help bad! :( I keep resetting but still no go. :(
Anyone?

Everythings hooked up just like normal. I've got 2 3850's. It was working fine before this. There isnt any beep codes when I start it. Rest of specs in sig.

I'm beginning to think its a bad mb, after doing some quick googling on the problem.

well do you have any other graphics cards you can pop into your current rig and test? or even test the two 3850s in another pc?

Does your computer have a speaker set up? The one that beeps when your board POSTs.
The reason you might be getting this is because it's not POSTing. What board do you have?

DFI Dark X38. Nothing happened on the mb, no sounds or anything. that number thing didnt light up either.
generally, when the speaker doesn't beep it is either the motherboard or the cpu that is dead
however, there are cases where some other components stop the system from posting, like PCI cards, etc.
What you need to do, is strip the motherboard of anything extra...just keep the psu plugged in, 1 stick of memory, and the videocard....unplug any hdds, optical drives, pci cards, etc...test with the bare minimum.
Sounds more like dead ram to me, my comp didn't post at all with a bad stick

Agree, I had a previous no post, and checked the vid card, connections, etc., replaced the ram, and it posted.

Oh my gosh, you guys are amazing! Took one of the sticks out, and it worked right away! Thanks a million. I need new ram though. Cant have this little of memory.

Have you tried putting the stick back in?
Does the problem repeats itself?
Try it.
I had things back to working order just by shuffling things up a little...

Problem repeats. RMA'ing it sometime. Idk when, cuz I'll be out of a pc for a while till I get the new ram. :( 2GB is fine for now. Just using a flash drive for "readyboost"
