Looks like a decent price but nothing you could not find somewhere else.
Throw out $1,200 and see if he will take it, a good friend will. if not offer to buy the drinks for the night for a bonus.

Firstly, €1000 is $1,500 American dollars, not $1,400.
Secondly,
Cooler Master Stack 832 with additional side fans - $150
OCz ProXstream PSU 1kw - $150
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0GHz - $150
Scythe Ninja Cpu Cooler Plus (Revision B) - $30
OCZ Pc 6400 4 x 2Gb Ram - $90
ASUS P5N32-E SLi Nforce 680i - $90
2 x NVidia EVGA 8800GTS 512 - $300
DVD RW €20 $20
LG Blu-Ray HD DVD Drive - $120
Western Digital HDD 160Gb - $70
Western Digital HDD 500Gb - $100
Logitech EasyCall Desktop - $30
Windows Vista x64 pre-installed
logitech 5.1 speakers x-530 - $90
LG Flatron W2252TQ 22in LCD - $200
Total Used Value: $1,563.00
So I'd say €1,000 is a good price for the rig. But I'm sure you can get him down to €900 seeing as it will all be worth less than a €700 by the end of q1 2009.

If he's your friend pay him value. Why risk hard feelings over money?

Price seems very fair alright, especially as it includes Vista Ultimate, a few games and expensive blu ray software.
Still its not really a good time to buy now with Nehalem and single slot cards destroying 2 x nvidia 8 series cards.

That good to know, final price for lot is €1000.He's going to install the games, Vista Ultimate and all the drivers for me, so its ready to go from the off.
Should I keep the 8gigs in it or use 4gigs.I want to get the E8400 to around 3.60ghz, running 24/7.
2 x 8800gts's overclocked and E8400 @ 3.60ghz should be enough to max out everything @ 1680 x 1050, shouldnt it?
Any weak points in the build?

Any weak points in the build?1. Very nice :)
2. 4 GBs wll be enough.
3. The E8400 should do at least 3.8Ghz on the Scythe Ninja without requiring a lot of voltage.
4. 2xG92 GTS (the 512MB ones are G92) will be equivalent to 9800GTX SLI with a small overclock, so you should be good at maxing out everything with 4xAA 16xAF on 1920x1200.
