2nd Rig To Be Build

Antec 900 case
Evga 8800 GT Superclocked
Going to use my 1st rigs PC Power and Cooling Silencer 550W OCZ when I get my Silverstone psu
CPU- I can't decide which one to go with, that will have good OC capabilities with the 780i
Mobo- going to use my 1st rigs Evga 780i
And what kind of cooling should I go with, Scythe Ninja or Thermalright 120 Extreme?

Any suggestion on parts will be appreciated.

Note: I'm currently running system OC'D at 4.0GHz. What I'd like to know is that, I've got Evga 780i FTW in transit will be here by Aug 18/19, what's the OC capablities with the E8400? How much do you guys think I would be able to push that to? Please let me know what you think about my setup. Thanks

The regular 780i should keep another E8400 at ~3.8Ghz 24/7 without issues. Or you could go for the E7300. Up to you. I have no idea why you need the second rig or if your budget is the same as the first rig, so it's not easy to recommend hardware for it.

I have a old pc sitting at home, which is for regular home day to day basis use. So I figured that I'll only need to get a new mobo and a cpu. So what I was thinking was that to use my 1st rigs 780i and get a new cpu , get a evga 8800 gt superclocked gpu and use rest of components from my old pc. I have Antec 900 on its way and I can't decide which cpu should I go with for the 780i. Should I just go with the Q6600 GO stepping? Also what's the potentiol for the Q6600 and the 780i overclocking capability, how much would I be able to push it running stable at what settings? I am already running my 780i with the E8400 stable everyday use at 4.0GHz. My question is how much can I push 780i FTW with E8400 stable at?

Sell your old rig stuff and grab a nice notebook for daily use and keep the first rig as the main gaming rig. I kid you not, you will NOT regret it, especially with the new Intel Montevina and AMD Puma platforms that just launched.

The regular day to day basis pc, Is used by my younger brother. So it's mainly for him. I'm building this for him, nothing fancy, and big. Just decent rig. He ussualy plays CS.S the most. So it's just a gift for his coming up B'day.
