I have two Antec Tri Cools (Came with my Antec 900) that I attached to my S1283 to replace the stock fan. Are the Antecs more powerful or less powerful than the Xigmatek?

For the tri cool
120 x 120 x 25.4 mm
DC 12V
RPM 1200 1600 2000
CFM 39 56 79
dBA 25 28 30
The Xigmatek is a pwm fan that spins up to 2200rpm, but chances are that at the lower rpm it'll move a very decent amount of air while being very quiet
but 2x fans at 2000rpm almost without a doubt have more cfm and pressure than 1x 2200rpm fans.

I could do 1x Tri Cool + 1x Xigmatek, that would get rid of the CPU Fan Error beeps on boot.
My Xigmatek only goes up to 1500RPM though and is max 99CFM.

ack, apparently frostytechs had a different revision
you are right the fan only goes to 1500rpm@61cfm, in which case the tri cools (especially two of them) will put out much more airflow considering that they'll come closer to the 79cfm in dual fan push pull setup.

No, the box says 99CFM for the Xigmatek.

I made a cyclone fan ghetto style, with some rubber bands, and now my setup looks like this:
*Sorry about last two images, camera defaulted to a higher res.
It whines like a ****ing :banana::banana::banana::banana:.

Stacking fans has very little effect unless the blades counter rotate, and it shortens the life of your fans. I would find a way to mount a fan to the back of your Heatsink, and forget about the stack of three.
I have allways been a fan of PUSH PULL setups, I use 2 Yate Loon D12SH-12 on my noctua, it not quiet but it works well.

Well it's basically push-pull right now... It's around 8C cooler than just the Xigmatek Stock spinning.

Thats weird because I tried doing a push pull with yate loon mediums, and i got no difference than the stock xig fan.
