Can these air/TEC coolers handle a q6600 well at 3.4+?

I've seen mixed reviews for both of these coolers.

i woudent get one the TRUE matches thier load tepms under a high load and 3.4 isnt a vary far oc unless u have a b3

3.4 would be a minimum overclock.

Weirdly they've been shown to do really good with Pentium 4's overclocked that have 120w stock draw and around 150 oc or something. Which is around what the q6600 takes with a good overclock full load.

To the guy who said his q6600 was at 50c load. YOU INSTALLED IT WRONG. Q9750 here sitting at overclocked 3.97ghz.. 26c full load.... This thing rocks and you need to reinstall it.

How is that possible if it's only as good as a TRUE?

The guy is lying out his A$$. Don't trust those reviews. Just get a True, OCZ Vendetta 2, Sunbeam Core Contact. All great sinks and very cheap.

What guy the review I quoted? or the guy responding on here?

If I decide to go air I'll be getting a Core Contact Freezer possibly with S Flex and Xigmatek Crossbow backplate kit if it'll fit.

But I wanna see how good these TEC/air coolers are since I wanna get max oc without going water.

honestly if ur thinking tech air u should go with a single fan liquid kit, but the TRUE should be about the same

im moving to liquid this week with a 2 fan swiftech and im hoping that it will make me not crash from case heat in the summer like i do now

I'm trying to avoid going water and from all I've read for the $150 cost and worry of water cooling, a single fan setup wouldn't hold the q6600 well enough.

well $150 was the price of my pump, tubing and NB block but the TRUE is what u are probly going to end up with unless u go liquid
