Could you give me your temps. @ 3.7-3.8GHz with 1.37-1.4v (both idle & load ) I'd really appreciate it.
Or if you're too lazy to set it, then what ever you got atm but also idle, load, voltage, GHz.
I can't rely on internet reviews and I'm into thinking of replacing my 9700NT.
Oh, and also ambient temp. would be nice cause I can't compare it if there's a significant difference in ambient
Thanks

Not too lazy, just have a lousy VID of 1.325.
I'll try pushing this system and then give you as close as possible results in temps.
Alright thanks mate, just keep it as close as you can to 1.37-1.4v

Low VID chips run hotter, keep that in mind...
My 1.3125v VID Q6600 ran 3.5GHz 389x9 1.448v @ 66-68C Load. (Brand new S1283 with standard mounting)
My first 1.2125v VID Q6600 ran 3.6GHz 400x9 1.384v @ 72-74C Load. (Used S1283 w/ Retention bracket kit)
My second 1.2125v VID Q6600 runs 3.6GHz 400x9 1.368v @ 72C Load.(Brand new S1283 with standard mounting)
All with Xigmatek S1283
Around 83+F ambient.
Yeah I know it'll be a little tricky cause of the different chips, though I'll have at least something to compare with.
My Q6600 has 1.2375v
1.328v (400x9) is enough for 2-3h QPrime stable and in 25c ambient and the hottest core is ~63-64c
1.376v (415x9) is enough for 5-6h QPrime stable in ~28c ambient the hottest core was at around 68c
Both the CPU and HS are lapped, tho the prob. is after a few remounts and re-lapping HS I fcked up and now I got ~6-7c higher idle and load temps. and I tried re-lapping a few times now and looks like I can't fix it so I'm looking for some replacement for my Zalman and if Vendetta 2 is anything close to what I had or maybe ( should be ) even better I'd take it.

You're not getting even 70C, why would you want to swap the Zalman dude, your temps are quite good at this insane ambient that we've got. Save the money.
I've got like 40C in idle @ 2.4GHz with the TRUE, and i know that's due to the weather...in the winter it will be a different story.:D
Yeah but now after I screwed it up it's like 48-50c ( 42-43c before ) idle and 74-75c in load ( talking about the hottest core ) and that's for just like 2min's Prime-img.
And we're talking about the same ambient and paste.

My Quad @ 3,8GHz reaches 80 degrees on full load using a TRU-120
Playing CoD4, it doesn't even go past 60 degrees though.

Perhaps you can try and repair the damage?
