I recently built up my new rig (specs in sig) and went vista 64 route (been using 32 for year fine) and have run into numerous issues.
First big one is my video card drivers keep crashing and uninstalling (used 175.16, 175.19 ~default from vista and 177.xx ~evga told me to try this wouldn't install period) also have video just blank out and then go what looks like and old school dos screen (all black and a white blinking _ ) where the pc responds to nothing (no mouse and keyboard input)
I do BSOD on stock everything settings as well, trying to find out which program is causing it (seems random atm)
Mem runs through memtest at both 333 and 400fsb for hours and no errors detected. HDs were brand new and passed seatools just fine
Volts when i try an oc to 3.2/400 fsb are cpu 1.2 (would boot fine in my old p35 board at this and be fine) ram at 1.8 (1.9/2 does nothing rated at 1.8) nb 1.28 and pcie at 1.6(same setting on my old p35)
at stock its all auto cpu ~1.15, ram 1.8, etc
also Vista Ultimate 64 sp1 and all updates through windows update
