WOW! I was thinking about getting this board instead of the asus p5q/p5q3 how does it stack up against the pq5's? if you had a choice would you get this biostar or the asus?

HAHAHA! I knew waiting for the Q8200 would be worth it. How much abouts is it going to go for?

This is not a normal request but I would love to know how good these are in crunching? You feel up to testing, shoot me a pm I'll try and help you set up smp without issues  Talking about the q8200 offcourse :D

Looking pretty bad ass so far but the cache probably will kill it :(

Wow, I'm so out of touch..........didn't even know these chips existed.

I think for the lowest end quad, they looks pretty good on fsb. Just hope the lack of cache doesn't kill it completely, if it's still pretty good it could be a good cpu for a gpu cruncher.

I bought a board last week...........yet to buy a cpu for her.
Think I'll research a lil more before ordering a Q6600, just in case.

Would be nice to be "up to speed" with current tech for once :)

It is to be released at 31st august, ill be sure to check this out, could be a cheap cruncher winner, or 4mb cache mite just be too little.
Already listed in Norway, at 1553 NKr, wich is coulpe hundreds more than q6600, and a 2 hundred less than q9300. Q9300 works brilliantly as a cruncher by the way.
