vsync problem thinking its the motherboard

Hi there well i am having a problem where all games with vsync enabled there is a slight mouse lag but when vsync is off its perfect ,yes tripple buffereing is on and changed all settings possible in the nvidia control panel tried d3d overider and have a g9 and g7 plus a raizor mouse which all act the same,as i can remember the 8800 ultr did not have this i think cheers

Update i got assasins creed today and i get 55 av frames with really easy seen mouse lag but when a graphics setting is changed and frames get to 130+ complete smoothness (gcard has been chaged hdd changed os changed) all thats left is mobo and ram and cpu could either of these cause this cheers:shrug:

Doesn't vsync due to the nature in which it works cause input lag?

I'm not sure if there is anything you can do about it.

i spoken to many people with similar hardware claiming theres is absolutly no mouse lag when vsync is used so im confused lol
