I've recieved an HD4870 a couple of days ago and I'm interested in purchasing a 3rd party cooling solution for it.
I've heard a lot of good things about the Zalman VF1000 and I've noticed a cooler called Zalman Z-Machine GV1000 (http://www.zalman.com/eng/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=283) for a rather low price in an electronics shop close to my home, and I was wandering about a few things- :shrug:
1) Zalman's Site states that the cooler only works with the HD4850, will it work with my HD4870?
2) Is this cooler about the same as the VF1000? is it any good really?
3) I've noticed that the VF1000 + RSH88 is a very nice combo in some reviews, with the RSH work with this heatsink plus an HD4870?
