I just recently upgraded my video card to a HD4870 and now need to update the rest of my computer to get full potential of it.

So i was looking at these parts. Could someone please give me some suggestion/ comments about these parts. The very maximum im looking to spend Maximum $400. i just spent $290 on the videocard. sooo its starting to add up.

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128347)

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017)

CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184)

Total Cost: $361.49

I already have a case, hard drives and video card. Was also wondering what size PSU one would reccomend for the parts above + an HD4870

thanks for all the help.

No comment on the mobo as it's still new and I think its OC capability is as good as the P35-DS3L.
Q6600 is a great choice but if you don't really do lot of multi task then E8400 might be a better option for gaming.
As for memory I would recommend the G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2 1000 PC8000 over the Corsair since it has a lil better timing and higher voltage, considering the price is about the same (I wouldn't even bother with Corsair rebate).
DDR 800 might be enough as you can do 400x9 but I went from DDR2 800 to DDR2-1066 and do 450x8 without any problems. I was using the Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 and couldn't get my system stable at 450x8, don't get me wrong, Crucial Ballistix is great brand but I don't know why its reputation is going down lately. Anyway, either G.Skill or Mushkin is my choice for now.

I agree with zanzabar and Perkam. Specially about the mobo, its really sweet for the price, more than worth the 20$ difference.
