Hello!

I have the system in my sig, and I'm thinkin about putting a HD4870X2 in it, and ditch the 3870 CF setup, when the card launches. I would also like to have the opportunity to run 2x4870x2 later on, so my PSU won't suffice.

Which PSU would you recommend? I'm thinkin about putting all of it into an Antec Twelve Hundred case, since 4870x2 is too long for my P182.

I've been looking at
Corsair TX750W (Just not sure if it's "worth it" with this upgrade)
Antec TPQ-850W
Corsair HX1000W

But I can't make up my mind, as I'm actually not sure how much power such two cards require. (+ my OC'ed Q6600 etc), since the tests of power consumption seem to vary much in both method and hardware used.
The Antec is 80mm front/back intake, and modular, but it costs almost as much as the Corsair HX1000, which is also modular, but has bottom/top intake, which is not a good setup in the Antec Twelve Hundred (I just think it looks really weird, and I'm not sure about the airflow when the PSU is upside-down, which it would need to be in that case). The Corsair TX750 is very cheap, but non-modular, and I'm not sure it's enough for 2x4870x2.

What do you think/know?

Edit: I read a lot of good about the HX1000, both from reviews and recommendations on this page... it's also a lot of PSU for the money. That's the one I'm leaning for.

Id go for the HX1000W. Im going to keep my HX620W for 1x4870X2 for now but i may well get the HX1000 in a couple of months time if i decide to get another 4870X2.
