Using a PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W.

After a couple of changes this week I will be pushing:
SUPERMICRO MBD-X7DWA-N
16 GB of FB-DIMMs
2x 2.5GHz Harpertowns BSEL'd to 3GHz
8800 GTX
3x velociraptors
10x Western Digital SE16 640GB HDs in RAID 6
areca ARC-1680IX-16 RAID Controller
Soundcard and DVD
4x 140mm fans
4x 120mm fan
4x 80mm fans
1x Delta 120x76mm @ 32 watts for the RAM

Power is very clean to the PSU, coming off an APC UPS.

The big kicker is the power up for the RAID array. If the areca allows staggered spin-up I'm fairly confident there is no issue, but if not do I still have the headroom?

PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W is a very good psu, anyway sata drives done use much power so i think you will be fine .

yeah, all the calcs are crap... but at least you can play with that one.

nemo, I plugged your sig into it with a 3.6ghz@1.5v oc and got rec psu 504w at 100% tdp....

but on the OP, that's a lot of components, dual socket, 8800gtx, 16gb ram and 13 hd's... I'm not comfortable making a guess on that one...

Could use a dedicated PSU for the HDD array.
