Well, after struggling with my old enthusiast board (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/search.php?searchid=6960293), I'm looking for a new Mobo. Something that will allow me to have gobs and gobs of RAM, like a server board, but also be my gaming/HTPC system. A jack of all trades, if you will. I don't think that's too much to ask, do you? If possible I'd like to reuse my DDR, but it's not an absolute must.
So, what's your suggestion? I'll probably dual-boot my OSes so I can run games under 32 bit Windows and I'll run something like 64 bit XP or 2003 to take advantage of the extra RAM. FYI, the reason for all the RAM is I run several virtual machines under the freeware Windows version of VMware Server. I use it as a training lab to learn new applications and systems for my biz.
