did it fry my mobo?
yes :(
no, just joking...check your PSU may be, you can't kill a mobo by resetting the CMOS.

gotta be a poor connection on the psu, like he said clr cmpos WIL NOT kill a board, also theres a switch under the cmos battery did you but that to the on position to use the cmos button? if so you HAVE to put it back on the off position.

if you need to ask, then just rma it. a psu should be serviced by a trained and qualified professional.

I thought I had done the same with my P5K Deluxe and I disassembled all parts (processor, memories, vido, etc), put it back to the original pack and after 3 days in a sudden crazy moment I mounted everything back again and voilá! It started normally!
I was back to my original OC and so far so good.

most likely the pin on the green wire of the PSU or the pin of the mobo that connects to the green wire did not contact. check that specific pin to see if there's anything loose with it.
as for the game freezing, it might be your memory, but it could be a lot of things. something is not stable. my first guess is the memory, then the video card
