Hi, a while back before i got my Q6600 i had (and still have) a AMD 4200 939 and i OC'ed it to 2.75GHz with out changing the volts and on the stock air cooler. So i was wondering if that is good or not?

Also it was stable in Super PI.

BTW i'm very sorry if this is the wrong section or a dumb question.

Thx

I tried for 2.8GHz but for some reason i'm having trouble getting past 2.6GHz this time, i got a "physical memory dump" aka blue screen of death after only a min for 2 at 2.6GHz. I'm sorry if this is a dumb questions, but is it possible that my CPU has gotten worse over last 9 months or so?
