After reading the fatboy thread I looked around to see what ram I had sitting around, without even knowing how well thise sticks where(I had them as basic test ram)and decided to test out some corsair 6400c4 cm2x512-6400c4 to be exact rated at 2.1v 44412.
test setup is a asus p5k deluxe p35 board,no volt mods, just good air cooling and a decent q6600 go chip.
thease are with 1.5 ish v core(bios)and all are 2.35 on the memory except for the last one wich was done at 2.4v nb was 1.4 volt and the last was set to max at 1.7(my board is starting to bottle neck me)
well here they are...I cant belive these were rated for pc6400 lol,oh and I have no idea what chips are in these. If some one knows post it up.

Did better than the 4x1GB 667mhz Elpida 6E-E's I was running on my P5K
They stopped at 470mhz 4-4-4-16 with 2.3v... 24/7 setting.

Unfortunately, I have a poor OCing E8400. I can run SuperPi at 4.2 GHz, but am not Prime stable above 3.8 GHz. :( At least I can strap the RAM higher.:p:

The Team is D9GMH. I would like to see what I can do with 4x1....for $55 shipped, I just might.

Come on you are only running 2 x 512 chips there ... Why aren't you squeezing that memory just in the bios like this G.Skill 6400HZ 2 x 1gb
This is on my P5KE-wifi
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/85pi.jpg
Although you will find that your whole system is quite a bit faster if you take that 6400 mem and run it on a good divider and then tighten it!!
This my P5E

D9's still rock just fine!!

your on a duel core,my quad cant go any higher on the fsb side and I cant run a divider that will work right with a lower multy,Im also only at 2.2v on the ram,Im sure I could get a litte more out of them if I was on a duel

well I am only using 2.12 on my memory myself! And as far as quads go well i just happen to have one of those too!! It was on a P5E but, now it resides on another P5KE-wifi as it is in my living room quickly becoming the nerve center of my home entertainment center...
Again I just divided my way upwards to more speed. I keep my mutliplier high as fsb does not win races.... Megahertz wins.. especially when you speed the memory up with it.
here is some divided memory.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/4pis.jpg
here it is running along with a high mhz quad.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/morepi.jpg
then there is dividing it up to almost 1300mhz!!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/2by306hot.jpg
Come on now push that stuff!!
What is your nb set at volt wise?? I run at 1.6 to stabilize those high mem clocks.
It helps me to keep the mem voltage down.

So you are not Familiar with, WeldZilla 2 "A New Beginning" Well I designed and built a case that promotes cooling by design.
!st it looked like this.

Then this.

Are we having fun yet????
Then my name's sake

taking shape

til this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/IMG_1893a.jpg
4 inch dryer hose pumping 265 cu ft a minute cold air though my radiator and into my case.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/IMG_1876.jpg
At this point i have other fans directing it over the northbridge and memory and even one on the bottom inside helping stuff the cold air to my vid card
the source of all this wind.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/WeldZilla/IMG_2974a.jpg
outside in winter AC unit blowing into it from an inch away in summer.
Cold year-round.
That is a heater core from a 1976 Buick Electra Limited. a Swiftech Apogee GT block and a Swiftech pump. you see my res in the pic above.
I will tell you though my Quad is running 3.2 daily now on just normal air in the living room and it idles at about 28C to 32C on the 4 cores.
My home is air-conditioned.
That is how I keep my temps so low.
Now push the memory...........

PS. I build all my own computer desks and table too... I have since replaced that monitor and the desk.

you have an aweomse quad,I have my case open and my AC on and I cant get under 50c full load with my chip,it would hit 75c with my big tornado 120 before going water cooling.

Sometimes it does come down to the luck of the draw!
You have done very well with yours too  when you consider having to fight temps
that is a war that is hard to win!!!
Seems like some Processors just dance their way right on through the clocks and others go kicking and screaming:shrug:

I will throw the 6400s back in once I get home from work tonight,I might throw my old b3 e6600 also to see if that lets me clock any higher.

How are you getting almost 1300 MHz out of the D9s? What voltage are you running them at?

Well heres what im running my Team Xtreem PC6400 @ right now.
600MHZ 4 4 4 4 @ 2.38v
They're pretty awesome modules, only got them today though so haven't really played much. :(
Also this P5Q Deluxe = for Memory OCing. :(
I'll update later with some 1333MHZ speeds, and hopefully 1400MHZ+ if i can get it stable enough (posted there earlier with only 2.4v but froze straight, methinks more volts are required.)

Very nice. I covet you E8500. I just sent off for another pair of Team 667. I want to see what I can do with 4x1.
