Hi guys.. :)
I think this is hardly considered to be Xtreme, but I cant resist to share my result with you :D

E 2160
Motherboard: DFI LanParty DK P35 T2RS
Cooler: Thermalright Ultima-90 with single 12 cm fan
RAM: Kingston Value RAM DDR2-667. I didn't tweak the subtimings
VGA: HIS X300 SE, but the driver reads it as X1050 Series
PSU: Silverstone Zeus 650W

The result is: 440 FSB on air boot straight from BIOS

A quick run of Prime95 at 425

Everest shot at 436

And here's the validation

I tried to increase FSB to 441 but system would not boot :(
It think this chip needs more cold ??

Do you guys have any suggestion to get more out of this chip??
I was aiming for 4GHz stable, probably for 24/7.

Umm, sorry.. I dont have picture of the rig :(
And currently there's no plan to put this chip under subzero :(:(

Thanks for reading :):)

Nice O/C. How do you find the heat. I got my 2160 to 3.60...but my mobo(P35-DS3L) ended my progress. Heat was not an issue at all. vCore only goes up to 1.60v then jumps to 1.80v...too much for my comfort level. Mine is an M0, i see yours is G0...and CPU-Z shows 1.376v for yours. Have you tried higher vCore?

Idle around 40 and Prime load about 62.
And yes mine is G0. Good eye.. :)
I tried some of them (6 pieces actually) and ALL can boot Windows @ 350 FSB without increasing Vcore and pass SuperPi 1m (just quick test).
I tried only up to 1.45V.

Eh... forget about this. I never saw an 65nm core2 be able for 4Ghz 24/7 on air. U should be happy with an 100% for 24/7

Mmm... not really :)
A friend of mine has E6600 at 4GHz for his daily gaming rig.
And many guys in this forum have been running their Q6600 4Ghz+ on air IIRC.

So, what should I do to get 4GHz stable on air?? Anyone please...

I'm using 2.1.69.2 and get 'PLL byte error'.
I'll try 2.1.69.1 later. Thanks for the info :)

I tried SetFSB 2.1.69.1 and still get 'PLL byte error'. Did I miss something??
