well i have seen far and wide, but usually old threads, that the dell bios's are unhackable.
ok well nothing is unhackable.

so i have a Dell 530s here that is using the Foxconn G33M motherboard. and of course the foxy bios allows overclocking.
the bios sticker on the dell mobo shows its a Phoenix Bios.
i have the Foxy bios which is 1mb
i have a backup of the Dell bios which is onboard right now which is only 512k (i used Winflash and a wph file form a different board to back up the onboard rom)
hecking the dell bios just shows jibberish of course with no coherent words anywhere that i can see.

so... the foxy bios uses afudos and it wont flash the dell bios as it says it doesnt support AFU.

so.. anyone want to take a stab at this?

i have both bios's i can sent you, or rather host and you download...
(i have not tried awdflash in dos as i doubt it will work but i coudl try)

Post it up and I will see what I can do. I doubt I can do very much with it. However there might be some hidden features.

I would try getting a separate BIOS chip and flash it with the non-OEM Foxconn version. Then swap out your Dell's chip for the new one. Should work in theory, am I wrong?

sorry for not getting back to you sooner, im kinda dealing with a migraine right now and i cant harldy see straight,, i'll post the bios later when i am coherent

bios chip is soldered.. that was the first thing i looked at

*edit*

screw it i'm up i might as well do it now

Bios Files (http://www.v-lestat.com/files/lestat bios files.rar)

the exe file in the dell folder is the original dell flashinf tool and bios downloaded right from their site.
maybe you can use that for flashing emulation (if thats even possible ?)
