I just had a heart attack when I saw those GPU-Z shots with 1160MHz on the core, was going to ask how you managed that on stock cooler :D A very nice start, now put those GPUs under some cold and throw 1.65v at them

maybe you were looking at something else i was but

in Xfire he is only getting 1050FPS in Nature with CPU at MHz it won't bottleneck the cards
that's supercrap

dinos: 2 4870's cost as mutch as 1 280GTX , not forgetting that this board only let it run like 8x 8x cf and not 16x 16x cf the there is where u get most bottleneck ;). if u ask me hipro can recall the preformence hit with going from 8x 8x cf to 16x 16x cf :D

since nvidia lowered their prices actually the GTX is 1.5 times the price of the 4870 so...I dont know whats my point

Compared to nvidia cards its nothing special obviously but if you have a look at what the latest ATI cards scored in Nature this is actually high :D 3870X2 with CPU same mhz struggled for 700FPS.... 1000FPS with ATI is rare.
