PPD count

Hi,:D

Im kind of new to folding. well have done it back in the days with a bionc (other project) client but stopped it after a while now using my gpu to fold with the following specs:
Nvidia 8800 gts 640mb (stoke) (175.19 drivers) with the 6.12 beta 8 client.
c2d E6600 running at 3375 (9*375) (one core fully loaded)
mem 2gb 1:1 375mhz 5-5-5-18 (ya i know i need some new mem :S)
fahmon tells me my output is around 2200ppd is that normal for these specs.. or do I need to change anything driver wise?;)

Your graphics card should be producing 4000+ ppd by itself. Are you pointing fahmon to both install directories?

From his description he's running only the gpu client, but it's doing something not right anyway as you should be topping 4,3 easy. Stick with the original CUDA driver 177.35 iirc, all the others seem to be allot slower.

You should use 177.35... I have (2) 8800GT / 256 doing 4500 PPD...at 625 Core

oke thnx for the remarks a was already thinking my ppd count was a little low so that’s why I asked..
running 177.35 drivers now with the cuda 2.0 beta release.. butting out about 3300ppd atm and still growing slowly i think..
