XFX 780i problem

hey

it just bought a XFX 780i motherboard. My problem is that i can only start the computer from a cold start. When i try to reboot, it just turns black screen, it sounds like the computer just keeps on running. It is the same when i try to change in the bios. Plus i cant get my Samsung S-ata DVD Drive to work on the board. Please help me, i realy wanna get this to work and start gaming.

If it does boot up from a warm start than you should start by updating the BIOS. There were SATA optical drive issues with early BIOSes but to my understanding they all should be gone with the P05P which is available from our site.
This may fix the cold start issue too. When you get do get the system to start do you get any messages like BIOS in Safe Mode? Are you manually setting your memory timings and voltage? If you are overclocking anything have you tried running everything at stock? Can you give us a full system spec run down?
