Just wondering. I'm not a fanboy of either company, whichever has a better value, but one thing that has always bugged me with ati is the fact that I have no idea how to make the color more vibrant on ati. I *really* want to purchase a 4870 but the one thing that's keeping me from getting that over a 9800gtx is that I'm kind of sick of having dull colors.
How exactly can you make the colors more vibrant? I noticed how crappy games look on my ati card color-wise compared to every nvidia card i've had because of this.
Much thanks to anyone that helps me =)

This would be great to know, as I have ordered an HD4850, and I run my 7800GTX with a digital vibrance setting of 25%. It really makes things look a lot nicer, and I would hope ATI cards support this.

it just has a different name. ATI's method actually gives you more manual control over the changes you make.

on an ati card u have to tune the card or your monitor, and all vibrance dose is jack up the contrast
