Nvidia core (v1.06) available

deleting the fahcore_11.exe allows it to update the core from 1.05 to 1.06 (dont think core will auto update to this one yet) gave my a 352 PPD increase compared to the 1.05 on my 8800gt at 735/1837/1000 bringing total to 5644 PPD.

This isn't a problem free switch especially if you run multiple clients. It immediately slowed my frame times down over 2 minutes. Elevating priority helped. I ended up backing the standard client down to 70% cpu usage and checked the box in "advanced settings" to not lock it to a single core. This also required going to task manager and manually assigning affinity to all cores. There is a long thread with everyone reporting different results. ;)

LOL... sorry to say I'm not at the moment. I still fold for PlanetAmd64. My home team's forum is down today. I've been doing a lot of lurking over here ever since I bought a Maximus Formula. I like your Folding, Intel, Case and Watercooling forums. There is always good info over here. :up:

I don't mind other team's participants strolling here every once in a while, reminds of we're all in this for the same reasons :up:

I haven't done a core update since I installed and haven't had a problem, I posted on the folding forums that I will wait untill I'm forced to update as I gone through hell going from a perfectly stable smp beta1 to a horrific beta2 and the stories I hear aren't all positive indeed.

Anyway happy to have you onboard on the project and XS even if you're just passing bye we appriciate the company and the helping hand. Maybe we'll return the favour if XS goes down again.

Team this is NOT good. I got just a 9600gt I shouldn't be entering the top 20 again... Come on people fold me out the top 20, you know I shouldn't be there ;)
