Just like the title says? If so, anyone has a walkthrough? My poor quad is bored and jealous of my 8800gts. :p:

No one has figured this out yet? We might be able to increase out output substantially for people w/ good gaming systems.

I think the main deal with the single cpu client is minimal points... like really low, compared to a gpu2. so it's a mute effort to combine a single core cpu client and gpu2.
smp is not bad if you have a quad. just run the gpu2 client with the "slightly higher core priority" setting in the gpu2 clients settings. and run a smp client as normal. the smp will add about 2000ppd to your machine tally.
but single core cpu client won't add but 50-200ppd to your machine tally... it's kinda pointless..

Sorry for being late.
You should try the 504 console not a systray version of the cpu client. Not only is the console version dependant on user interaction it will not fold if you're not logged on. For some not a problem, but I like my client folding when I'm not at home and my pc is at the login screen.
But actually, I have almost the same setup, q6600 and a 9600gt. My gpu2 client only takes 3% cpu usage, your card is faster so it needs more power but I think it will be much under 10% total leaving more then enough for an smp client. For me ppd on the gpu does not change if I run smp or not, smp drop 3% consistent with the gpu client's cpu usage. So my advice to you would be, vista x64 as os and both smp and gpu2. Most points most science most everything... ( heat for one.. need aftermarket cooling for my card ).
