I've submitted several EVGA rebates over the years and have never had an issue with them. They generally take about 5 to 6 weeks or so and they seem to handle the rebates internally and have excellent customer service.

Recently, I purchased a Palit which uses Worldwide rebates and I also received my rebate, but it took like 8 weeks and I've heard that some people have had issues with them. Thankfully, I didn't.

If anyone ever has to wait more than 4 weeks to get their MIR from a Palit card, please PM me here and I'll get that fixed. That is unacceptable and not at all what we pay them for.

Have really never had a problem with any rebates I've ever had. Some may take awhile to get to me but they always do. I've had a few with EVGA and they've always been no problem.

I had an issue with EVGA last October when I submitted for a rebate on my 8800 Ultra. Rebates in general are nothing but a pain in the arse. If a discount is to be given, why not give it at the time of purchase? Why should I be out that money for 8 weeks just to not get it at all in end. I no longer purchase anything based on the rebate price. If I am not willing to pay the asking price without the rebate than I don't get the product period.

good to see some palit representation on the boards:welcome:. so far iv had the best results from Gainward when they weren't owned by palit. i haven't owned one since the buyout so i cant comment on that. though i have never had a rebate not show up within 8 weeks from either EVGA, XFX, Gainward, or saphire

DEFINITELY NOT MSI!

I bought a chiefvalue MSI 9600gt (custom cooler one) with a $20 MIR. I spent all the time to get the correct invoice, fill out their online registration, and the rebate form plus UPC.
Waited 2 mo and still was pending online so I emailed them.
They replied my rebate was rejected due to the lack on an invoice (which I stapled together with the form) and resubmissions were not possible.

Thanks for nothing MSI!

Chievalue though was courteous enough to offer a $5 discount for further purchases and also a nice alarm clock though...
