The Q807 batch is pretty good from what I've seen... I have a Q815, and I'm not that happy with it.

Just get the E8500 at the Egg right now, OEM for 209 and don't look back.
it's worth the few extra shillings.....

Really it is? Are people getting much better results from the E8500 over the E8400?
I'd just get the E8400 and use the money saved towards good cooling. (LN2? hehe)

Ebay but make sure you get a new one as a lot of ppl dump there used poor overclockers there.
Tankguys might.
Fry's instore will let you pick sometimes.

most of the E8500 batches are good, there are very few that are not, mainly because there are far more batches of the E8400 because people buy those more, I'ma be grabbing a new E8500 here soo, so I'll have 2 ;)
