Finished up the install last night and got around to some temps and overclocks results.

Temps before water block
Idle 50c
Load 85c with fan at 100%

After
Idle 40c
Load 50c no fan noise at all/sweet.

I'm using a Exos 1 with 1/4 fittings, though I will mention I'm using high flow 1/4 on the waterblock as they are alot larger, will post a pic. Water temps go from idle on average of 31c to full load testing of a few hours to 38c. Exos is set to increase fan speed to 100% at 45c, though I have never seen this happen.

Overclocks so far as I have not had the card artifact or lock-up/crash ect..

Core 752
Shaders 1506
Memory 2650
Vantage GPU score on P is 11,825. Current memory bandwidth is 170.1.

never got past 650/1400/2300 on stock cooling unless I ran fan to 100% and imo was to noisy for everyday gaming use. With 100% fans I managed 700/1450/2500 but after awile things would get pretty hot and at 85c i just stopped knowing WC was on the way so why beat on it.

Happy with the results as they are fully benchmark stable. Still testing in games, so far so good though.

Good stability tester, the medusa demo. Loving the BenQ

Great temps. Any issue with the blocks thus far?

If you got pics, any chance on one with the block removed? To show the contact between the block and the memory?

This was the finish on the backside of the block, this section is what touches the GPU. You can see the reflection of my 2 fingers to give you an idea of the finish. Good enough for me and my 1/4 Exos, lol.

This is a pic of the 1/4 fittings. The one on the left is the DD ones and the one on the right is the high flow, Mmm, what one would you pick.

One on the left is...well you can figure it out;)

The DD ram sinks were pretty purple and made of aluminum. Yet they use copper for the block. So hell I pulled out some OCZ copper ram sinks for the win...I think.

This is the view most of us already know, but included it anyway. I do like the semi see through smoked plastic on the block, however I wish DD opted for clear as it would make UV coolant look cool as hell going through the block.

http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm199/Rodman_020/177.jpg

Installed and ready for tubing. I have one more nice night shot of the UV green coolant and custom 120mm side fan that blows cool air right on those ram sinks. Will post that asap.

Here we go, custom side fan for ram cooling.

Close up of how tubing was run. Though the Koolance is simple and anything but Extreme I do like it for ease of use.

I had one on my stock Alienware ALX back in the day. Koolance's new blocks are way better. . .the new one has no aluminum. they look better to.

but what the heck is a Tieton?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tieton

Tieton is a town in Yakima County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,154 at the 2000 census.

In recent years, Tieton has suffered economic depression, with the decline of its fruit warehouses. As of 2007, Seattle lawyer Michael Longyear and Ed Marquand, founding president of the art publishing house Marquand Books have been investing in the town and attempting to revive it, with a project they call project "Mighty Tieton."[

The Tieton is made exclusively from copper mined from the historic foothills of Tieton . . .the copper mined there has better heat conductive properties than even silver.

I do not believe some one could actually make a statement like that and mean it.

These blocks do a decent job... 2 of them in sli on a PA120.2 and they hit 51c at max load (Crysis @ 1920x1200 - very high - 1 hour gameplay)

How far is it from the top edge of the card to the top edge of the block? Just curious how much additional clearance is required, thanks.

LOL . . .you guys should know me by now . . .the copper also is polymemetic so it self-seals any leaks . . .it also lowers the resistance in the CPU allowing for way faster overclocks . . .yes . . .it guarantees you will pwn n00bz and veterans alike . . .lower ping, it even adds charisma points to your WOW pally or AOC ranger . . .max dps . . .

Sorry to be a party pooper. But seriously, does it have better heat conductivities than silver? I don't understand if this is a joke or not...

No it does not, but still a fine block by the looks of things and what others have reported.

It's about 1 inch. Overall it free's up alot of space though as the stock cooler is massive.
