Ek 680i Part2 Mosfet spacing off 2mm

Weird thing happened.
Picked up a new Ek 680i Part2 waterblock from petras and the spacing is off 2mm.
Box is labeled 680i, so is the manual, but the screws don't line up with the 680i properly.
Hmm.. :confused:

Anyone else experience this?

Just called up petras.. Apparently there are been a problem with a few of these blocks as of late.

Motherboard spacing is aproximately 69mm, while the block spacing is 65.5

Now I have to find a new mosfet solution :(

Had the same problem bud. Bought mine from Petras too, they let me send em back, why I love those guys..... who else would do that? I'm pretty disappointed in Eddy, I emailed him and he blew it off pretty much, saying it was a problem with my motherboard. Funny thing is I tryed it on 3 different reference 680i's and it didn't fit any of them.

Yeah, it's strange that Eddy said your boards are bad.
The Mosfet is completely off.
Petra was great, they told me to send it back.

Maybe EK gotten so arrogant that companies like XSPC and Danger Den will beat them out of the market... kinda like Intel and AMD during the P4 days... just a thought.:(

From the email I got from Eddy, he sounded very arrogant. Even when I talked to Alex, you could tell he was having some troubles with EK.
