K, I said when they brought out a nVidia client I would join you all so here I am.
I am running 2x 8800GTS (G92) 512mb in SLi so do I need to run the program 2 times or is SLi working on it for me?

Currently the GPU client only runs on one GPU no matter how many you have.
When multi-GPU support arrives (they are working on it) you will need to disable SLI because it is a CUDA application. If SLI is enabled CUDA will only see the first card.

Huh as far as I know you can run two clients on two cards just they can't be in sli mode. The -gpu x flag tells the client which gpu to use, 0 for primary and 1 for secondary. Also the primary card has to be supported or you will get an error message. Just not sure how this (http://foldingforum.org/search.php?author_id=3123&sr=posts) guy did it since I know my client saves it's work files in standard location and I guess a dual installation would just result in two clients trying to use the same work folder. You might try if the -local flag still works and force the two clients to run in two seperate locations, best bet I guess. Also don't forget to run with the -gpu 0 and -gpu 1 flags.
edit: Just because it's not supported it doesn't mean it's not possible :)
Edit 2: Also, you need to disable the primary adapter before starting one client, and when it's running enable the first one and start the other.
Would very much appriciate if you post if this works or not :)

From my head.
1. Install client.
2. Find out where the client files are, duplicate them to an empty folder like this
Root
/Fah1
/Fah2
from now on I'm guessing so you just have to try, and their two logical routes I think.
a:
3. Make two shortcuts, one to each client (Folding@home.exe)
4. Disable the primary adapter, start one client.
5. Re enable the primary adapter and start the other one.
B:
3. Make two shortcuts, one with -gpu 0 and one with -gpu 1 both towards another location's client executable
4. It should already work now
if you use the startmenu link, it will put the application date under %appdata% but since you make your own shortcut and don't specify anything it will run from it's own location without interference. I just been able to start two instances on one card ( only have one so I didn't try to actually run them simultaniously ) and it seemed to go as expected. If the gpu flags are not working at the moment then use the hw manager to disable and renable like in A.
