i was just browsing the Iwaki site in the RD pump section,
and came across the RD-12 in the brochure.
seems like a nice pump with 20' head, 2.6gpm, 12 watts, and variable speed.
only if it was 12v :(
anyways just wondering if anyone has seen it before, if so my bad.
specs in red
Well it says 12v is available, and to contact them for it.

gawd, how nooby is this --> Would the head/gpm figures drop going from 24V to 12V power? If so, could the diff be calculated using just those 24V numbers? (I'd guess a proportional 50% drop in perfomance, but my guesses have a rather awful accuracy rate.)

Yes indeed, a new model at least to me.

Yeah but, they will make a 12v for you if you order like 1k units... they don't have them sitting around and you can't just buy 1 in 12v. Most industrial applications are 24v.

If you mean run the 24v pump at 12v then it will be dismal... if Iwaki made a 12v motor for the pump it would have the same specs as the 24v (or very close anyway)

I'm thinking of making the plunge into the world of Iwaki RD-30...

FYI,
One thing you have to keep in mind with GPH and GPM is the length of the tubing in your system, aquarium pumps explain is best when it comes to systems with different tubing lengths on how it the GPH/M is reduced.
