1:2 divider not working with current BIOS, hopefully new BIOS will coming soon to fix this problem.

I thought we were adding pipes for watercooling inside the heatsink aswell, when did that get dropped

Nice NB Heatsink..... it is possible to build a 120mm fan on it?
Nice idea.

I think there is a built in waterblock that you detach to use the huge fin monster. Looks like 3/8" tubing?

Nope, the waterblock stays attached and the large optional heatsink screws on next to it.
Last night on air with the large heatsink attached my NB was idling at 35C in BIOS, running 1.35V.
IMO the design of the NB heatsink doesnt lend itself well to effective water cooling, since theres a large finned gap between the bottom plate and the waterblock.

Nothing special Tim, vMCH helps a lot to gain more FSB (i set 1.6v), CPU PLL 1.65v, CPU Termination 1.65v, vSB = 1.6v. CPU Skew = 50ps.

FSB 600 Validation with E8500 : http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=380165

Settings :
MCH Latch : AUTO
Memory Divider : 2.00D
CPU Skew : 100ps
vMCH : 1.45v
CPU PLL = 1.7v
CPU Termination : 1.6v
vSB : 1.54v

for Wolf, try leaving vMCH / PLL / Termination / SB at Auto.

I assume this is 8X + 8X in crossfire, right? I seem to remember hearing 16x + 8x, but maybe I'm just screwy today.

I want to replace my P5E3 Premium with this board for some better quad overclocking :)

yes, the NB water block have not good design, the pipe diam designed for this block is not compatible with the well known water cooling system pipes, even with Gigabyte Galaxy 3d water cooling system.

I think that the D series of memory dividers dedicated to FSB 400MHz processor but 8500 has FSB 333 so should you set it to 2.0B ?
why we need to increase vSB ?

benny would you please look at the upper side of the board which I showed in the image ? in my board there is a small gap between the bottom surface of heatsink and the VRM chips. so this huge heatsink can not cooling them well.
what about for your board ?

It's strap my friend... to reach higher FSB no matter what your CPU default FSB. I have new BIOS and a lot improvement, i will post again later.

they are made pretty good
we advised the mobo design team to stick with 3/8" diameter as that is probably the most optimal diameter to use and lots of W/C setups ship standard with them

Galaxy uses rubbish 1/4" diameter....they should have never really made it with that diameter IMO but if you do want to hook these up you can get size adjusters and it should not penalise you in flow
