Build a rig around a lcd/ plasma tv

i was thinking of using up to 3 hdd's (one being a raptor drive), amd x2 6400+, asus crosshair II formula, 4-8 gb of ram, 850 psu, and a 9800 gtx. All of it shoved inside the antec 1200

but i was thinking about switching over to intel...

well, one thing I would say is that you definitely will NOT need an 850watt PSU. But if you are gonna switch over to intel go with a C2D, they're not all that expensive and they have good performance and mostly good overclocking abilities.

Also, I have my rig hooked up to a Vizio VX32L (32" LCD tv) using a 9800GTX, and then I got a DVI to HDMI cable (no adapters) and it looks great!
