So far this E8500 Q740A479T would have to be the best wolfdale cpu I've had on many levels including:

All vcore reported below are idle vcore with loadline calibration disabled, so there's a 0.08-0.016v droop under load.

lowest vcore and max boot into memtest at 4218Mhz at 1.184v
lowest vcore for 4009Mhz boot into windows at 1.184v
lowest vcore for 4009Mhz 8M Pi at 1.192v idle/1.176v load
lowest vcore for 4000Mhz prime 1hr stable at 1.240v
highest FSB for 1M Pi at default CPU VTT of 1.10v = 540FSB straight boot from bios

Thanks

Quick loose timing run with monteboy's SPI Tweaker (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=3093624&postcount=356) with my new E8500 Q740A479T - didn't do anything other than set the pi directory to my setup's config and left 384MB waza file and still shaved off 1.703 seconds off my standard times :)

Impressive chip you got there:up: Crazy low volts for such OC :D

I'm waiting for the e8600 to come out and hopefully it can perform as good as yours :)
