I switched from a 19" CRT to a HP LP3065 and now I'm wondering if these backlight bleed issues really are normal.
Looking at the monitor straight it's not that bad but if I view it at an angle ~1m away and slightly from above (standing up) it looks really bad. If anyone has a s-ips panel of any size it would be nice if you could post pictures. Please only post pictures if you have an s-ips panel (I'm not interested in TN/PVA/MVA). In any case any input on the subject is appreciated.
Pictures taken with my 7 year old ixus v2 so they are a bit blurred but they have been taken using the same settings, 1/2s iso 50, locked white balance and focus.
EDIT/
Monitor at maximum brightness but the whole point of the thread is the difference when looked at an angle, the difference is huge imo.
