some food for thought...
With summer heat and electric bills climbing...
I just reduced my dedicated folders from
fsb: 380x9 to 375x9,
vcore: from (1.42-.144) to (1.36-1.38)
that's a nice vcore, power consumption, and heat reduction for only a 45mhz decrease in core speed.. which should be a smart choice for running 100% 24/7 crunching.. there seems to be a magic little line between 375x9 and 380x9 that requires a pretty sizable jump in vcore for only a 5mhz fsb bump... so I'm trying to slide right under the hungry vcore line...
