Hi,

I just got a new gfx card, PNY Ti4200 64MB, and noticed that my max stable OC for my CPU went down about 30MHz. My old gfx card was a GF2 PRO400. Has anyone else noticed a simmilar thing? It should not be the PSU since I got an ANTEC 400W unit and my voltages are the sameas before. I used to be able to run 3Dmark2k1 at 1667MHz and now I only can run at 1637MHz.

I've seen some other people complain about the same thing, seems the GF4 isn't as stable at high FSBs as the GF2/GF3. Try changing AGP driving control and increasing AGP voltage.

Thanks for the quick reply, my MB (Abit KR7A) don't support adjustable AGP voltages, but gotta check out the AGP driving control. Any suggestions what I should do to them?

When I switched from a G2 Pro to my G4 Ti4200 I noticed that I had to add about .05vcore to the CPU to run stable at the same speed. Perhaps these things are just power hungry? :)
